Ingredients
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 strips bacon
- 2 (28 ounce) cans baked beans
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup diced tomatoes
- ½ cup chopped cooked ham
- 3 tablespoons molasses
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
- 1 tablespoon dry mustard
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Cook onions and bacon in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat until evenly browned. Drain and set aside.
- Combine beans, onion bacon-mixture, brown sugar, tomatoes, ham, molasses, prepared mustard, dry mustard, and salt in a large bowl; mix well Transfer to a 2-quart casserole dish; cover dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Uncover; bake 1 hour more.
